About Me


Welcome to my doll blog! I'm Christina, a 20-year-old who has retained her love of dolls! I am a Christian and am currently pursuing a Music major and minors in Spanish and English and, when home for the summer, use some of my spare time on doll photography and a little creative writing. My hobbies include sewing, baking, reading, photography (of course!), and hiking/being outdoors. You can also find me on my Instagram account for my Etsy shop and doll photography and my Etsy shop, Daisy Chains (which is currently empty due to my being at school).

A Brief History

I received my first AG doll when I was 7 and bought a second when I was 10. I stopped doing anything with my dolls a few years ago, especially since my friends didn't play with dolls, and I don't have any sisters (just three younger brothers!). However, I constantly had ideas for crafts and creative things to do with my dolls, so when I discovered the vast amount of AG bloggers I decided it was time for me to join the world of doll blogging! I don't post regularly, but I do my best!

    I have an AG club too! :) It has 30 members. We have a book club and we do auctions. I have been doing it for 2 1/2 years!

    I just recently found your blogs, and I think they're great! I love that you are still into your American Girl dolls--I'm not alone!
    From what you said about yourself, you and I have a *lot* in common. Quick question though... I saw on your other blog, Idlewild, that you are in college, but aren't you just 16? Just wondering...

      Hi Dani! Thank you! Yeah, it's awesome to meet other teen doll lovers!
      That's so cool! Yes, I am only 16, but as it says in the second paragraph above, I am doing the Running Start program at the community college. Running Start is a program for high schoolers who want to finish high school and get two years of college done at the same time :).

    Love that you were a Homeschooler, AND are doing this blog! My two youngest love the 18 inch doll stuff and are Homeschooled, so I love to find others people that homeschool so they can see there are lots of people doing it. Fabulous pictures!
